Colorado

I last posted here in October.
CRAZY!
It was a whirlwind fall and even a crazier Christmas season.
We sold our house.....
Spent 5 weeks without a house....
Now are in a our new home.
-Moving 6 people sucks!
-Being without a home....always in someone else's space.... sucks!
I don't even like that word, but it sums up our crazy last few months.

Now, it wasn't always horrible.
-We made some great family memories.
-We visited family and friends.
-We took a vacation.

I learned:
-I'm not as solid as I thought I was.  My mood is way too dependent on my circumstances.
-My children are much more flexible then I ever imagined.
-Living with 4 outfits is possible.

And the prize goes to:  Baby Girl!!!  We slept in 8 different places in 5 weeks.  She slept in beds, pack-n-plays, and on floors.  She took airplane rides and spent a gazillion hours in the car.

I'm just going to jump ahead and post pictures from our vacation to Colorado.
I hope to come back and fill in Oct-Dec.

When our dear friends made a big move to Colorado last August I told her I promised we would come and visit this winter.  Once that our life got so crazy with selling our home, I didn't think the trip would be possible.  But because I promised......I made it happen.  I am SO GLAD I did!!

And when Little Man gets hold of horsepower....there is going to be an accident!

We had such a great time!
We will be back.
I PROMISE!

Midwest tour

I had a quick Midwest trip.  In a week I hit 8 states.
I enjoyed a wedding reception, a newborn baby, and lots of family time.
Here are a pics from my phone.

Smelling the crisp harvest air was such a treat!
Fall is my favorite time in Illinois!

On to St. Louis

The wedding reception was for my cousin, Jason, and his new bride, Jen.
It was at the City Museum.
That place is AMAZING!!

This picture is so blurry but sooooo sweet.
They were such a cute couple!

The reception was full of fun stuff like a candy and glow stick table!

The museum was full of places to climb and crawl into.
My kids would have loved it!!!

Then on to Chicago to meet my new nephew.
He is perfect!

I also got to bond with his big brother!

I loved spending time with my sister and her wonderful family!

Modern technology made it possible to home school long distance!!

It was a great trip but it's always good to be back home.

Life here is good and busier than what I like.
Homeschooling has had it's ups and downs.
One of the kids is having a great year in school and the other is ready for summer already.
Baby girl is getting strong opinions, but she is still cute as a button.

I have so much I want to blog about....maybe soon....
