Check it out!

Check out her new bling!

Don't worry, she only has to wear it at night.

The Chatterton Family

We had the most wonderful, fun, fun, fun time with the Chatterton family.  I tried to get them to stay......forever.......and I think Julie was up for it.....but Zac said they had to go.

The kids got along great.  Our "southern friends" joined us one night for dinner and that was a blast.  Zac thought my little man was a hoot and kept him very busy.  It was just perfect.

My wonderful husband took Zac to work the first day.
Zac had a great time exploring and learning about the crops of the South.

Meanwhile,  the rest of us headed to the zoo.  The visit was great except for the feeding of the Lorikeets.  Although Julie is smiling in the picture below.....she was not smiling inside.
Anxiety kicked in and I couldn't get the bird off her fast enough.
She did survive....but I doubt she enters one of those cages again.

We headed to Charleston and Isle of Palms.

Jack found a friend to play football with.  Here they are waiting for the pass...

And we also got an adult night out!

It was WONDERFUL, FUN, FUN, FUN!
COME BACK SOON, I miss you already!!

The last few weeks continued...

Our Illinois trip continues with pics from our bonfire at Grandma's House.

And as you are already aware, a bonfire is not complete without...

More swimming....

When there was thunder
and Little Man was told to get out of the pool.
He still found a way to have water fun.

ON THE FARM!

Here are some pics from Papa's fish pond.
To my surprise, Little Man has not landed in it
Yet.....

Now for our wedding anniversary.
Well....it WAS our anniversary, but it was anything but romantic.
We spent most of the day apart.
He spent most of the day at his family reunion and I spent most of my day at my mom's house with a sleeping or sick child.

It's okay....I know we will make it up!

Here are the pics from the reunion.  I missed most of the fun.....but I hear it was great!

The trip to IL was full of fun and not so fun stuff....
(all 3 kids got sick the last week)
It was nice to be "home" (Illinois).
Then it was nice to go "home" (Carolinas).
